Northern Portugal, for those who eat and drink with intention.
Porto's restaurants don't always have websites. The Douro's best quintas don't always appear on maps. The wine that will stay with you for years is often poured by someone whose name you'll want to remember. I know where these places are. I live here and spend all my time exploring them.
How I can Help
There are two ways to travel with Hedonist Tourist.
You can use one of my digital guides - a fully scheduled itinerary, already tested, ready to follow - and arrive with a plan in hand and nothing left to research.
Or I can build your journey from scratch: your dates, your pace, your kind of table. A trip that doesn't resemble anyone else's.
Both start from the same place - the belief that Northern Portugal deserves to be understood, not just visited.

For those who want a complete, hour-by-hour plan without spending weeks building one. I've already driven the routes, sat at the tables, and tasted the wines. This is that work, handed directly to you.
Each guide includes a full day-by-day schedule, curated restaurant and winery picks, driving notes, and the kind of detail that only comes from having been there.

Why Work With Me
Every trip has a fixed amount of hours. The question is what fills them.
Northern Portugal rewards people who know where to look - not because good places are hidden, but because understanding what makes them good takes time most travellers don't have. The difference between a fine meal and an unforgettable one is often context. The difference between a winery visit and a real encounter with a wine is knowing which questions to ask and who to ask them to.
I know the logistics - how the region moves, how long things actually take, where the rhythm of a day should shift. I know the gastronomic culture well enough to read a menu the way it was meant to be read. I know which combination of places, in which order, at which pace, creates something that stays with you.
Fifteen years of travelling wine routes across Europe. Several years living here. That's not a credential - it's a way of seeing.
My job is to make sure that when you leave, you feel the time was used exactly right.
About
My Name Is Olga
Eleven years in hospitality. Fifteen years exploring the wine routes of France, Italy, Germany, and Spain - thousands of miles through vineyards, following the people behind the bottles.
Then Portugal.
The north of this country has a quality that took me some time to name - a kind of honesty. The farmers here aren't performing terroir; they're living it. The restaurants don't need mood lighting because the food does the work. The wine doesn't need a story because the land is the story.
I'm here to open that world to people who are ready for it. Northern Portugal belongs alongside Bordeaux and Tuscany - not as an affordable alternative, but as an equal. I'm not interested in showing you a list. I'm interested in showing you why
